Mariana Castellanos, Mexican of origin and in love with Quebec. She is a Ph.D. student at ENAP, graduated with a master's degree in cultural business management, a master's degree in museology and a bachelor's degree in Latin American literature. She has worked at the gallery of the Consulate of Mexico in Montreal, at the Center d'histoire de Montréal and as a teacher in Mexico. She founded the festival La Fete des Morts, dedicated to raising awareness and safeguarding Montréal's funeral heritage. She is interested in the management of cultural, artistic and educational activities as well as in the preservation of memory and the use of new technologies. Her current research project led her to wonder about the changes in Quebec's new cultural policy and to consider culture as the root of sustainable development.
