Diane Claussen is an Associate Professor of Theatre Studies and Head of Theatre Management at DePaul University. Diane was the Managing Director of the Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts at Northwestern University, Paper Mill Playhouse, George Street Playhouse, and Philadelphia Theatre Company, and Executive Director of Court Theatre at the University of Chicago. Diane is Co-President of the Association of Arts Administration Educators and Co-Editor of the American Journal of Arts Management. Prior service includes President of the League of Chicago Theatres and board leadership positions for New Jersey Theatre Group, ArtPRIDE NJ, and Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia. Diane is an arts leadership consultant, and she has worked with Emerald City Theatre, Music Theatre Works, American Stage Company, and Georgia Shakespeare. Diane received her MBA/MA in Arts Administration from Southern Methodist University and B.A. degrees in Theatre and Communications from the University of Washington.
